Now that Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has begun production in Australia, we’re going to take a look at different cast and crew members, beginning with the lead, Owen Teague. We don’t know who he’s playing in the film, but we assume he’s going to be the lead chimp, taking the place of Andy Serkis’ Caesar (no easy task at that).
He was born Owen William Teague on December 8, 1998 in Tampa, Florida. He made his television debut in a 2012 episode of Malibu Country, followed by NCIS: Los Angeles, Bones and Black Mirror, with a starring role on the series Bloodline and the Paramount+ limited series The Stand, based on Stephen King’s apocalyptic novel of the same name. Recent movie credits include Montana Story (2021), To Leslie and Gone in the Night (both 2022). While shooting Kingdom, he’s got three other films in post-production.
