Earlier in the year Marvel Comics announced that they would be publishing Planet of the Apes comics, which wasn’t really surprising considering Disney owns both POTA and Marvel. While the initial announcement covered reprints of classic stories from the 1970s, Marvel is having some fun with the property by issuing a series of variant covers featuring some of their most popular characters interacting with Apes from both branches of the film series. Those variant covers are below.
